I keep finding her random "artwork" in the most random places.
And we keep punishing her with time-outs and cleaning-up of the color.
And she freaking keeps doing it.
She doesn't even seem to be trying to draw anything in particular.
Although R is her favorite letter.
And she did a nice job outlining the door handle.
Sigh. Maybe she'll find something useful (and monetarily beneficial) to do with these impulses. One can only hope.
I've heard that Crayola Color Wonder markers are great! Hopefully you have a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser - they work wonderfully for things like that!
ReplyDeleteI agree with the Crayola Color Wonder markers. Although buying the markers and the paper they can color on seems like a scam it is nice to not have to worry.
ReplyDeleteYup, looks like you've got a budding artist on your hands. One thing my sister got for Porter is this pen that you fill with water and this special mat that they can draw on with just the water pen. Can't go wrong with just plain old water!
ReplyDeleteWe had the Color Wonder markers, but once the coloring book got filled up, we never bought more paper. And our Mr. Clean eraser got used up with the last bout of wall artwork and I keep forgetting to pick up a new one. But good suggestions, both!
ReplyDeleteAnd Amy, is that the Aquadoodle? I've heard of that but never checked it out. Maybe now is the time...
