I'm so grateful my kids travel well. Our 6am flight (without Dad to help out) would have been a whole lot less fun if they didn't. But it was a piece of cake.
Snowbird Resort might just beat out Lagoon for fun places to go in Utah. We played in bounce houses, jumped on trampolines while attached to bungee cords, rode the alpine slide over and over and over, climbed through the ropes course, fell off a mechanical bull, climbed a wall, and rode a tram to the top of the mountain.
Too bad Chris is still at home.
Despite the fun we're having, a part of me is a little bit jealous of Chris being at home alone. It's quiet there. And clean for more than 10 minutes at a time. And quiet.
There is nothing in the world quite like S'mores.
Today we're leaving the 80 degree weather and heading to 100+ degree weather in St. George. Good thing the house there has air conditioning. And good thing there's an indoor pool close by. Us Oregonians can't take that kind of heat for very long.
I'm very blessed in the in-law department.
The world is a beautiful place.
