Today is my birthday! Woohoo!!! I'm turning...29...again ;)
Tomorrow is Chris's birthday. I love that our birthdays are so close together. It makes life easier.
All I want for my birthday is for life to be less crazy. So we're going camping. I can't wait.
The problem with showing up to parent meetings in our school district is that you find yourself co-chair, at the very least, of all kinds of committees. Despite clear insistence that there was no way we were going to do it, my friend and I are now in charge of the fundraising for Outdoor School for next year.
I'm going to miss shopping with Ellie next year. I never thought I'd say something like that, but it's true. She's so much fun to hang out with.
Planning a camping trip is a lot of work.
Yesterday I quoted "The Simpsons" to Vicki. She said, "Mom, you're really weird." One day she'll appreciate my twisted sense of humor.

ReplyDeleteYou are lucky that it is warm enough to camp up there. We are still covered in snow down here. I went up the canyon the other day and it could have been the middle of winter with how much snow we had.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE your twisted sense of humor. You are brave....for a lot of reasons but mostly for being on the fundraising committee. Let me know what you will be doing maybe I can help out....you know by buying whatever it is you will be selling..
