Random Thoughts Thursday

The picture last week was of frog legs. NOT baby legs. Although I can’t blame you for thinking that.

Do you ever wonder what happens to everything you type before you remember to click in the text box?

I took pictures diligently for 137 days, and on day 138 I totally forgot!  I'm so bummed.  But I'll keep going.  Today is day 140.  I don't think I've ever done anything consistently for so many days in a row, except say my prayers.  Missing one day isn't the end of the world, right?

We planted a bunch of tomatoes on Saturday. Ellie chose a “chocolate cherry tomato” plant, and when we stopped by the garden on Monday she was disappointed that there were no tomatoes for her to eat. I hear you, sister.

There are only 3 weeks of school left. Holy cow. I’m not ready for summer.

You know you live in Oregon when the school doesn’t cancel the Fun Run even though it’s pouring. Luckily it cleared up just in time for the kids to run. Vicki ran seven laps, Lexi ran six, and even Ellie ran five. Hopefully they’ll sleep well tonight.

I do not want to drive to Vancouver tonight for Lexi’s gymnastics. I hate going up there in the rain. Ugh.

My girls are no longer the only grandchildren on my side. Dang, there went the spoiling rotten. Plus, little baby Gavin lives a lot closer to the grandparents. We need to do something about that. (I would like to make it clear at this point that I am in no way indicating the possibility of me becoming pregnant any time in the near future. If you want me to have another baby, you need to buy me a bigger car and a bigger house. Mmmkay?)

I think I need a new spam email address. Because, contrary to what appears to be popular belief, I am not a man, nor am I dissatisfied with the size of any my body parts (which I do not actually have, because, like I said, I’m not a man.)  Ew.

There are some people I know who need to update their blogs. You know who you are.

  2. I know you're talking to me. But, I have been getting ready for my end of the year concert and blogging just had to go on the back burner. I'll do something soon. BTW, there are some things you can never unsee and that picture of the frog legs...

  3. When you say something needs to be done about Baby Gavin living closer to the grandparents, I didn't in any way take it that you were going to have another child. What I think you should do is move closer to the grandparents. Yes. That is what you should do.

  4. I don't know what it was but I found this weeks Random Thoughts Thursday particularly funny. Not that your other ones aren't, this one was just more so. You know what I mean?

  5. Glad it wasn't baby legs. But the feet threw me off, it didn't look like frog feet. Well, I guess what I think frog feet should look like.
