It's a Cannon Power Shot S3 SI.Lindshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18094642034452768557noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7608574986922869165.post-12491113126286922062009-06-11T15:05:46.007-07:002009-06-11T15:05:46.007-07:00I have a Polaroid. I haven't had any trouble with it - but then again I don't use a lot of the features that it has. I also like the Kodak Easyshare cameras. If my Mom (who is 75) can work it, it should be pretty easy to use.

Good Luck deciding!Karahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10901363455570305870noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7608574986922869165.post-52658557756071208392009-06-10T09:30:38.001-07:002009-06-10T09:30:38.001-07:00I have two digital cameras. Here is a link: http://www.usa.canon.com/consumer/controller?act=ModelInfoAct&fcategoryid=144&modelid=13077

I like the zoom on this camera (12x with digital) and the shutter speed is fast, but it is heavy and requires 4 AA batteries to operate. It takes an SD card and has the swivel LCD screen. I also like the fact that when I do movies on this camera, it is full screen on the T.V. like a regular camcorder and not a little box like most cameras. I use this camera mostly for photography, but it has been collecting dust lately.

I also have an Olympus Stylus 1030 SW in the green color. Here is a link: http://www.olympusamerica.com/cpg_section/product.asp?product=1363

The things that I like about this camera. First, it's waterproof. I took it to Wisconsin Dells and took tons of pictures in the waterpark. (If you were on facebook, you could see my pictures, but you're not!)Second, it can use an micro SD or XD card and comes with an adapter for the micro SD. Third, it does have a great zoom (8.6x with digital) and can also take pictures super fast if you just hold down the shutter. (Like a DSL camera). Fourth, it has a rechargeable battery and comes with a charger. You can buy extra batteries, but I've never needed it.

I wanted another camera because my Fuji was just to heavy and this is light and is all I use now. When I bought it, it was more than $200, but it was awhile ago.

I'm not sure if this has helped or not. :)Tammihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12848358460971802618noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7608574986922869165.post-37412112631598050502009-06-09T20:55:39.676-07:002009-06-09T20:55:39.676-07:00Sorry no help here either. I would love something that would fit in my purse.

Sorry I'm not much help but if you email Britton and Blaine they have a lot of opinions on this topic and could be of great help.Grayshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06282748079500406110noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7608574986922869165.post-36463991325017296922009-06-09T18:23:33.889-07:002009-06-09T18:23:33.889-07:00Yeah..you've come to the wrong place. I am not...Yeah..you've come to the wrong place. I am not tech savvy at all. You could always do what my parents did and not photograph your kids childhood at all. Then, when they ask you about it, just give them a confused look and say "umm..who are you?" Because, lets face it, without the pics to prove they belong to you, they don't have a leg to stand on. (well unless you count birth certificates, DNA, the testimony of extended family, and the extreme resemblance..but other that that...)

p.s.- this may be the least helpful comment of all time!Lori Annhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04573357441002889273noreply@blogger.com
